My client came to me with a magical idea: to do an illustration of a unicorn weightlifting. This illustration will eventually go on printed apparel, and as such was tasked with being unisex verging on masculine so as to appeal to everyone. In other words, a unicorn dudes will feel comfortable rocking on their tank top. I brought a retro, j-pop feel to the illustration. In the end, everyone was happy!
